BET.com makes way for another exciting original web series.  Tune in Tuesdays at 3 PM, beginning February 2 for “Shop Talk:” the nine-webisode series based on actor/musician/writer/producer Malik Yoba’s weekly visits to his Brooklyn neighborhood barbershop. It is a full exposé of comedic proportions, featuring men, and a few women, who are free to express themselves; no holds barred!

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Jewyl: (17 yrs old, 5″3′ or shorter) Tough, streetwise, and able to kick-butt. She’s small in stature, but can handle herself and anyone else that gets in her way. Her only weakness is that she cares more than she will admit, although is loyal to no one but herself. However, she is at a point in her life where those two points are ready to change. (Marshal arts training, tattoos, and piercing a plus)

Agent Garrett: (Male, mid-30s) A sarcastic, but tough minded FBI agent who is looking to build his case anyway he can, using questionable tactics, people, and anything else he can to forward his goal of success.

Agent Spence: (Any sex, mid-30s) A steady hand, and a ray of light to Garrett’s darker side, Spence sees the world as inherently good, which may or may not be beneficial.
